Patrick Boothman is a self taught hand poke artist WHO IS ALSO developing his machine skills.

​

Growing up in Wolverhampton in the 1980s and spending 3 of his adolescent years in Papua New Guinea He IS fascinated by the many ways different cultures express themselves THROUGH TATTOOING.

​

“I work predominantly in black and greys, splitting my time between handpoke and machine work. My preferred style is still developing but I always enjoy designs that have an ethnic/cultural heritage to them, Celtic, Pacific or Asian ornamental."

​

An A level Art , a foundation year at Walsall College of Art, studying Fine Art at Staffordshire University and finally dOING a PGCE in Design Technology at Sheffield Hallam University.

 

 eventually experimentING with hand poke tattooing, HE started tattooing at Sursum tattoo in 2017.
