Mat is the owner of Sursum tattoo he is a multi award winning artist, getting both best Japanese and best oriental at Cornwall tattoo convention and Nottingham Dino show!

​

A self taught artist tattooing from 2013, Mat does most styles but prefers japanese, Traditional, geometric and any linear based tattooing. He wants to create the perfect tattoo for the client with the skill set he has and won’t compromise on quality.

​

A 2.1 degree in Fine Art Contemporary Media studies, an international Graphic design/illustration portfolio that spans from working with bands to small businesses.

​

His annual guest spots take him London and Long Island; New York, He is looking to work in different countries and to work at British conventions to expand his knowledge of tattooing in the next few years.

​

Mat prides himself on his family life, being a Dad of three he appreciates every tattoo that comes through the doors to provide for his children.
